Hi, I'm Carlos Karan,

a Brazilian art director currently working at Area23 (NY). I have also worked for Africa DDB, VMLY&R and LeoBurnett Frankfurt, both as art director and illustrator. I've worked for clients such as Samsung, Ferrero, Vivo/Telefônica, Mitsubishi, Santander, Brahma/Ambev, Honda, ESPN, Suzuki, Heinz and more. My main career focus up until now has been getting better as art director and creative but I'm always learning and developing my skills with personal projects or agency related work.

I speak Portuguese (the caipirinha version), English and can also understand and speak some French.
